Brown’s big win of the Senate seat held for nearly 5 decades by Edward Kennedy should not be seen as an upset. Clearly, his Dem opponent ran an anemic, lackluster campaign that failed to connect with voters.
For Dems and Republicans alike, this should be the high note – voters want to know you’re listening, and if they don’t feel it, you’re not getting their vote.
It’s a shot over the bow for Dems – let’s see if anyone is listening. I seriously doubt we’ll see Barbara Boxer resting on her laurels during her upcoming Senate race. Look for a great fight and a smart campaign. Fiorina’s people are already coming out sliming…
